First live video session on “Alliance’s ambitions and capabilities”

Dear Visitor,

With great interest we follow your valuable and inspiring exchange of views on NATO’s future. Your comments are periodically submitted to the group of experts for their consideration.

To further increase the debate’s diversity, we are bringing onboard a number of senior NATO colleagues. They will escape their offices to join you in a live video session on 15 October, 15.30 pm (Brussels time).

Our first invitees are Michael Ruehle (Policy Planning Unit/Private Office of the Secretary General), Steve Sturm (Defence Policy and Planning Division), and Dr Stefanie Babst (Public Diplomacy Division) as moderator.

The session will be held on the eve of the first key seminar on NATO’s new Strategic Concept in Luxembourg. The seminar will discuss the Alliance’s core tasks and functions, a topic that has been debated extensively in our forum. We will therefore build on your comments in this live video session. For those who have not yet participated, it’s not too late. Tune in to the discussions on 15 October.

The video of the discussion is a available here.
